Jesus in the Bible

I promised a friend to print some pages she emailed me a while ago. As I was searching through my documents to find the right one, I found an other one I wrote after watching a video on youtube.
I think it was back in January when I first watched how an 11 years old boy (Josiah Willis) was proclaiming Jesus throughout the Bible. The message was recorded on April 3rd, 2011 in the Sunday morning services at Bent Tree in Carrollton, Texas.
Surely some of you know this, but I guess it's a good reminder. Jesus appears not only in the gospels or the New Testament, He can be found in the whole Bible.

He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He is the keeper of creation and the creator of all. He is the architect of the universe and a manager of all times. He always was, He always is and He always will be: unmoved, unchanged, undefeated and never undone. He was bruised and brought healing. He was pierced and eased pain. He was persecuted and brought freedom. He was dead and brought life. He is risen and brings power. He reigns and brings peace. The world cannot understand Him. The armies can’t defeat Him. The schools cannot explain Him and the leaders cannot ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him. The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him. The people couldn’t hold Him. Nero couldn’t crush Him. Hitler couldn’t silence Him. The New Age can’t replace Him.
He is light, love, longevity and Lord. He is goodness, kindness, gentleness and God. He is holy, righteous, mighty, powerful and pure.
His ways are right and His word is eternal. His will is unchanging and His mind is on me.
He is my redeemer. He is my saviour. He is my God. He is my peace. He is my joy. He is my comfort. He is my lord and He rules my life.

Amen.
